Surf Web Series (SWS)—the Online Surfing World Championship—has arrived in the Land of the Rising Sun for the highly anticipated E-Pro Japan. Round 1 has officially kicked off with the opening 8 heats.The fourth stop of the digital tour introduces the great waves on offer in the Asian archipelago, in addition to the sport’s top talent with 24 professional surfers and 4 amateur wildcards in the draw battling for the national title. The top two finishers of the event will be invited to the world final gathering the finalists of each country in order to crown the first-ever Surf Web Series world champion.
