"El Paraiso" is an upcoming documentary is set to premiere on June 5 during the Surf City El Salvador Pro. This film follows the story of the Championship Tour surfers Matt McGillivray, Yago Dora, and Liam O'Brien as they transform the waves of El Salvador into an artistic and spiritual experience. Traveling along the Surf City route, from Punta Roca to Punta Mango, the documentary showcases their unique skills and deep connection with the ocean, intertwined with the vibrant culture and stunning landscapes of El Salvador. The documentary is directed by Loic Wirth, known for his ability to capture the essence of human and natural experiences, and produced by Gustavo Duccini. With stunning cinematography by Paul Lavoine, "El Paraiso" brings the beauty and intensity of surfing to life. The production was supported by the innovative efforts of El Salvador's tourism sector, led by Minister Morena Valdez, showcasing the country's commitment to promoting its rich coastal heritage. It highlights the class and style these surfers bring to any wave condition, delving into what is truly spiritual and important in surfing, and what years of travel have taught them about people, culture, and relationships.
