The Surf Web Series event kicked off competition in South America on October 26, 2020, determined to create a new competitive strategy for professional surfing to adapt to the current COVID-19 pandemic. Now the Brazilian Storm has the opportunity to battle it out over the internet to determine the first-ever national champion, and competition is getting heated as the last few Rounds unfold.
The top four finalists, taking to the podium on November 6th via live broadcast on YouTube.com/TVWaves, will also earn a spot in the SWS World Championship Final in March 2021, competing against participating nations to represent Brazil on a global stage.
