SURF WEB SERIES ANNOUNCES FIREWIRE NAMING SPONSOR TO E-PRO USA

The Surf Web Series prepares for the E-Pro USA beginning March 11 and now welcomes Firewire as the naming sponsor ahead of competition. Competitors including East Coast charger Rob Kelly will contend against West Coast standouts Jacob Szekely, Cole Houshmand, Kei Kobayashi and more as registration for the event closes March 5.

This marks the ninth stop on the road toward World Championships with 32 men and 8 women already qualified. The Firewire E-Pro USA will feature men’s competition similar to the preceding E-Pro Europe with not enough entries to include a women’s format. SWS co-founder Gustavo Duccini continues to strive for excellence and bringing the world of competitive surfing right to fans fingertips. Securing Firewire as the naming sponsor does just that.

“We think Firewire was impressed with what we’ve created because they’re a company that represents a part of the future in this sport with their technology,” said Duccini. “As well as their innovative concepts changing things for the better. This is the same approach that we’ve embraced to create Surf Web Series and it’s something we want to keep evolving.”
